All our pergolas are supplied in standard sections of timber as shown below apart from special requirements when larger sections of timber have to used as in the Extra Large Walkway and The Car Port in both of these models the 4” x 2” is replaced by 6”x 2”

Vertical supports are 4” x 4” x 7ft or 9ft (if concreted in the ground) Please add £6.50 to each upright being supplied.

                 4 posts for the Pergola Arch & Walkway

                 6 posts for the Large Pergola

Horizontal rafters and bracing pieces are all 4” x 2” with angled shaped or square cut ends as the designs require.

It is worth noting the sizes of the timber being used by our competitors. These being mainly very thin and light gauge. This flimsiness provides little or no support, for as and when the Pergolas become covered with plants and shrubbery, the resultant structure could become dangerous and unstable with the ever-increasing weight of the foliage, especially in the wet and wintry conditions of our climate.

All our Pergolas are supplied in easy to erect kits delivered to your door relieving you of any transportation problems. The kits come complete with full fitting instructions and all necessary materials to fully install the Pergola. All the Pergola designs apart from the Pergola Arch are capable of being extended by purchasing extension sections, details are shown with each illustrated model.
